The White Rivers boys team captured the team title at Gregory

WhiteRiver cross-country CRUSHES the competition at Gregory Invite
Aug 30, 2017

By Rich Winter

The young guns over in White River seem to be coming along nicely in the cross-country arena as coach Corey Sayler's team dominated the competition at Tuesday's Gregory Invitational.

Results:

1st - Aaron Voigt - Gregroy - 17:44

2nd - Tyson Iyotte - 19:03

3rd - Caden Whipple - 19:18

5th - John Petrik - 20:05

16th - Colbee Scott - 23:30

19th - Aiden Iyotte - 23:58

20th - Gabe Beardt - 26:40

Team points: White River 10, Lyman 29, Marty 42

Let's remember, the guy at the top, Voigt, finished 3rd in the State Class B meet a year ago, so the big-guns from White River are right where they need to be at this early stage of the season.

Tyson Iyotte - Sophomore, Caden Whipple - Freshman, John Petrik - Senior...Class B meets score the top three runners and it looks like White River is loaded up on top.

A couple weeks of good solid training for these guys with the next meet not scheduled until Sep. 11.
