Well, in case you didn't realize it or hadn't been told but Team South Dakota wrestler Nash Hutmacher was back on the mat today just two days after winning the Cadet National Freestyle championship several days ago.

The Cadet wrestlers switched disciplines today with Greco-Roman taking center stage. For you Mike Hammer types, Greco Roman is - This restriction results in an emphasis on throws because a wrestlercannot use trips to take an opponent to the ground, or avoid throws by hooking or grabbing the opponent's leg. Arm drags, bear hugs, and headlocks, which can be found in Freestyle, have even greater prominence in Greco-Roman.

Alright, so the Cub Polar Bear got on the mat today, but didn't get to EAT for very long. First match, tech-fall in 33 seconds. Second match, tech-falled in 31 seconds.

Keep in mind this is a national tournament....these aren't slouches Hutmacher is greasing, these are elite, elite fellas that our boy is putting down.

More on Nash and Greco tomorrow!
