Former Parkston star Riley Reiff played superbly in the Vikings win over New Orleans.

Shout out to PARKSTON'S Riley Reiff

Interesting watching the post-game of the first Monday night football game and listening to Vikings QB, Sam Bradford. The former Heisman winner and No. 1 overall draft pick looked like a top-tier NFL QB after completing 27-32 passes for 346 yards and 3 TD's.

Probably his best performance in the NFL, and the first thing he did was pay tribute to his offensive line.

You bet he did!

Bradford spent a good share of last year getting tossed around like a rag doll while a pourous Minnesota line gave up sack after sack after sack...Without any time to throw, Bradford racked up the highest completion percentage in NFL history, but, the Vikings finished 8-8 and did not make the post-season.

Well, the offensive line is revamped, including the addition of free-agent, former Parston Trojan, Iowa Hawkeye and Detroit Lions big guy, Riley Reiff. Several times Jon Gruden pointed out the improvement of that line and he talked at length about Reiff doing a good job over on the left tackle position.

Let's not forget that Reiff played right tackle with Detroit and the switch to the left-side isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world to do.

Sam Bradford had all day AND Dalvin Cook broke Adrian Peterson's first-game rookie rushing recrod (127 yards).

Well done Vikings....Pittsburgh this week...OOOOOHHHHH!!!
