Parkston DIGS out win over Bon Homme
Oct 18, 2017

Well, well, well, we are getting to that part of the volleyball season where every match matters. On Tuesday, the Parkston Trojan volleyball team played like a group that has won five of their last seven with a three-game dispatching of 1-21 Bon Homme.

It has been a solid run for Leslie Rylance's crew with wins over MVP, Scotland and Platte-Geddes, a tough loss to an 18-5 KWL squad (took a game from them in tournament play, a WIN over a 16-7 Wagner crew and a loss to ranked Parkston.

Oct 21 TBA Unknown Opponent SESD Tournament @ Winner

In last night's road win over Bon Homme, the Parkston defense was on fire.

Big Numbers:

* Paige Semmler 10 kills, 24 digs

* Faith Rands 31 digs, 2 aces

* Brenna Walz 4 aces, 5 kills

* Sammi Murtha - 14 assists

Parkston (11-12) and Bon Homme (1-21) each play in the SESD tournament on Saturday in Winner. This SESD tournament looks pretty interesting. Wagner beat Winner on Tuesday and Parkston looks like a dangerous floater in the field.

In order to get a home match in the upcoming Region 5 tournament, the Trojans just need to keep winning to maintain their lead over MVP, whom they would face in the first round.
