Norris cowgirl CUTS like a champ

Stumbled onto the South Dakota High School Rodeo Association Page this week and kinda kicked myself for not having looked there before.
Was really quite astonished at the number of really quality performers from this south-central part of the state.
Martin Cowgirl Karissa Rayhill tears it up in the barrels and goat-tying and is headed to Nationals in both of her specialties.
Couple local gals caught my attention as I scrolled through the list.
White River's Savannah Krogman just missed making the National Finals in breakaway roping, coming in as the 5th best in South Dakota....top-4 go to Nationals.
Kinda embarrassed actually that I wasn't aware of Norris cowgirl, Ciara Stoddard.
This young lady competed in four events at the South Dakota State meet, placing well in three of them and finishing 2nd in cutting to qualify for the national meet.
Ciara Stoddard state results
Goat Tying - 23rd
Breakaway roping - 39th
Pole Bending - 8th
Girls Cutting - 2nd (Earns trip to National High School Finals Rodeo)
