Lyman's Jadeon Biggers and the Raiders open their season

Looking forward to a BIG year from Lyman's Jadeon Biggers

As a former high-school offensive lineman, I'm always partial to keeping my eyes peeled for the guys up front that do all the dirty work and rarely get the credit they deserve.

One of the guys I've got my left eye on this season is Lyman junior, Jadeon Biggers. Young man had a pretty solid sophomore campaign for the Raiders, and did well in a lot of sports.

Had a good campaign for the Lyman wrestling team and then followed that up with a state track appearance in the discus where he finished 21st with a throw of 119'10".

Gotta admit I don't know much about coach Michael Kieffer's football team up in Lyman.  But, this I do know, put a big, athletic offensive tackle in a 9A football game and good things are going to happen.

Looking forward to following Biggers this season in all three sports. Should be a much improved wrestler and once you get a taste of the state track meet, ya want some more....

Lyman opens their football season Aug. 25 at Wall. Here is the complete 2017 schedule for the Raiders.
