Noted more for her high jumping, Kadoka's Kaylee Eisenbraun went big in the long jump

Kadoka's Eisenbraun smashes long jump record
May 11, 2017

By Rich Winter

Have been keeping my eye on Kadoka sophomore, Kaylee Eisenbraun. The Kadoka athlete broke the state qualifying standard early in the season and has been over 4-11 multiple times this year.

At the Rapid City Christian Comet Classic Tuesday May 2nd she tried Long Jump for the first time ever.

And, not knowing what to expect or having very little experience in the event, Eisenbraun got out there. All the way out there past the state qualifying standard of 15-5.

In fact, Eisenbraun got out to 15'11" which brok a 14-year old Kadoka school record.

After some shuffling atop the leaderboard from Howard Wood, Eisenbruan finds herself as the No. 8 long jumper in the Class B ranks.
