Quarterback Dylan Mohnen continues to play well for the 0-4 KWL Wildcats

Is there a TUFFER winless 9AA squad than Kimball-White Lake
Sep 9, 2017

By Rich Winter

Just a guess here, but thinking that Dale Taylor and the Kimball/White-Lake Wildkats are anxiously awaiting the upcoming bye week. The team is 0-4 but has rally gone through the monsters of 9AA with easily the TUFFEST schedule in their classification.

* Aug. 18 - Lost 48-16 to No. 1 Gregroy

* Aug 25 - Lost 30-22 to No. 4 MHH

* Lost 26-18 to a good Parkston team

* Sep. 8 - Lost to No. 2 Bon Homme 22-14.

Another solid effort last night against a good Bon Homme team.

* Carter Fredericksen 17 carries 81 yards.

* WR Kory Peters 8-109

* QB Dylan Mohen 15-34, 1 TD and 2-4 yards.

* Kezery LeBeau 15 tackles.

Listen, in the overall scheme of things Kimball/White Lake only lost in the total yards battle 359-330.

After a bye-week this battle tested squad should start to find the win column.

5 Sep 22 7:00 p.m. CT Wolsey-Wessington Wolsey
6 Sep 29 7:00 p.m. CT Ipswich/Edmunds Central White Lake
7 Oct 06 7:00 p.m. CT Platte-Geddes Kimball
8 Oct 13 7:00 p.m. CT Lyman Presho

If this squad makes the playoff, look out...they've been tested and played well against some of the best 9AA teams in the state.

4-4, I wouldn't want to see them in the first round.
