Who is the MVP of the Winner football team this year?

Is Matt Smither, Winner's Most Valuable Player - Season stats
Oct 5, 2017

By Rich Winter

Have been meaning to get to the Winner season stats for about five days, but, alas, here we go. Does anyone remember the box-scores and stats from a year ago....Monstrous offensive numbers despite limited touches for some of the elite athletes on Winners 2016 state title team.

Originally I was going to write something about Smithers because every time I see him on liveticket....the man is moving the chains. Sounds like he is doing a lot for Dan AAker's squad this year.

Winner offensive stats:

Rushing:

Philip Jorgensen - 62-356 - (5.7 average)

Riley Calhoon - 67-353 - 3 TD's

Matt Smither - 56-300 - 4 TD's

Ty Bolton - 48-211-4 TD's

Trevor Peters - 40-197 - 2 TD's

Passing:

Carter Brickman - 18-32 - 2 TD's, 2 int's

Receiving:

Riley Calhoon - 6-100

Matt Smithers - 4-60

Tackles:

Levi Mclanahan 23 solo, 33 assisted - Tackle for loss - 3

Matt Smither 17 solo, 29 assisted - Tackle for loss - 4

These stats are through six games and current until the boys lay some lumber tomorrow vs. Wagner
