Freaky Friday leads to SUPER Saturday
Aug 26, 2017

By Rich Winter

Wow, what a wild day of football, delayed football and post-poned football in South Dakota yesterday. While a bunch of games in west river made it to the finish line, a good share of east-river games were either stopped or didn't even start because of the severe weather and heavy rain that came pouring across the SUNSHINE state.

One of the really interesting games that will resume tonight is that of Gregory at Parkston. That game can be seen at www.liveticket.tv but, a pair of early turnovers from Gregory finds Parkston leading that game, 8-0 with 3:58 remaining in the first quarter.

When play resumes, Parkston has the ball on the Gregory 15-yard line....OOOOOHHHHH!

Very intrigued by this game for a number of reasons. One is that Parkston lost to Bon Homme, 6-0 last week and then Bon Homme went out and just crushed Wolsey-Wessington, 38-0 yesterday. That's a good Bon Homme team and shows pretty well for Parkston which suddenly looks like they've got the offense figured out....Video highlight is of the pressure the Trojans are putting on Gregory QB, Andy McCance.

This one is going to get interesting!!

We have another interesting game going on out east as the Chamberlain Cubs trail Canton, 26-19 with just over 10-minutes remaining in that contest.

That game was stopped with 10:56 remaining and Canton has the ball, 1st-and-10 at their own 20-yard line.

Couple of liveticket.tv games of interest that were postponed last night were...

Wagner at MVP

And..

No. 1 BEE vs. WWWSSC

Here are some of the statewide scores as reported by the Mitchell Daily Republic.
