Saw a great post from Jim Fritz yesterday and I was going to just let it sit there and do it's thing but dog-gone-it....Brady Fritz and Shea Connot scored on back-to-back big plays last night and I just couldn't help reflect on a really cool post.

Jim Fritz - October football in South Dakota always means it’s another year the Winner Warriors will be competing for a state title in Class 11B football. Good luck to the Warriors tonight as you begin your playoff run..

Good luck tonight Shea Connot, you have come a long ways this year, from not starting on your junior varsity team last year to a very good All State caliber player this year as a junior. We are all very proud of not only your play this year but also extremely proud of the leader you have become to the younger guys on the team………….including Brady… your dad is obviously smiling and noting every tackle and interception you make.

Good luck to you Brady, it’s not easy to come in as a freshman and return kicks and punts. Your time is coming, whether we are ready for it or not……. We love watching you guys play!

You can talk about the universe being connected and all of that but Fritz said, "Every tackle and interception you make about Shea and Good luck to Brady for returning punts and kicks....

Well, late in the first quarter, and I'll include the entire scoring summary here, but Fritz took a punt back 61-yards for a TD. Then, after kicking the ball, on Stanley County's first play, Shea Connot stepped in front of a Buffalo pass and took it to the HOUSE...

That's intense...Love the Universe....

Scoring summary

First quarter

W: Riley Calhoon 53 run (Phillip Jorgensen run )

W: Calhoon 20 run (Trevor Peters run)

W: Matt Smither 9 run (Peters run)

W: Brady Fritz 61 punt return (Smither run)

W: Shea Connot interception return

Second quarter

W: Peters 4 run (Calhoon run)

W: Peters 3 run (Peters run)

Big win for the Winer guys who move into the quarterfinals against a very good BEE team....
