Ricky Fowler will be teeing off in the second-to-last group in the final round of the Masters

Can a Navajo fella conquer the Masters
Apr 9, 2017

By Rich Winter

At TC Prom last night and someone mentioned to me the lack of sports on television yesterday. While I'm eagerly awaiting the start of the NBA playoffs, gotta tell ya, my behind is gonna be planted somewhere watching the final round of the Masters.

I think myself, like a lot of people, casual golf fan, have a hard time dialing into an entire golf tournament without Tiger in the mix, but buckle up baby, it is gonna get good this afternoon.

The leaderboard....Oh baby, jam packed with some electric players.

Sergio Garcia -6

Justin Rose -6

Ricky Fowler -5

Charley Hoffman -4

Ryan Moore -4

Justin Spieth -4

Adam Scott -3

Charl Schwartzel -2

Somehow I'm seeing a massive meltdown for Sergio Garcia this afternoon. Somewhere on Amen Corner, or Rae's Creek, the wheels are going to fall off...No offense, just saying!

That leaderboard is jam packed with guys that know what they're doing on Sunday.

Former Oklahoma State golfer, Ricky Fowler, whose grandmother was a Navajo is sitting right there. If memory serves he hasn't won a major, but he's been working hard on his game and his body, and he's right there.

Yeah, it's golf, but what else ya gonna do on a rainy Saturday in the middle of South Dakota.
