Todd County QB, Bryant Burnette continues to play well for Bob Korney's Falcons

Bryant Burnette is LEGIT at QB for the Falcons
Sep 9, 2017

By the Lightning Rod, Jody Brozik,

Wow, gotta say I had the best time over in Mission yeterday. Headed over to webcast the game on tcfalcons.live, and yes, we had an audio problem, BUT, I got to see some friends, make new ones and one of the highlights of my night was meeting and talking to Todd County Cross-country coach, Tonya Whirlwind Soldier....Enjoyed meeting you!!

But, sitting up in a super crows next in Mission I got to sit back and really watch the Todd County Football team.

I'm impressed!!

Rich Winter was giving me a scouting report on the way to the game and he told me right away to keep an eye out on junior QB, Bryant Burnette. Rich said Bob Kornely referred to him as someone that has really improved and is TUFF and a leader. "The guys play for him," Rich said.

Burnette ran the offense well, showed some nice touch on the 5-7 for 35 yards night and did everything you want a leader to do!

TC rolled to an impressive 46-8 homecoming win and they looked good doing it.

* Mark Rogers - Have heard stories about his dad and I've heard a lot about that 1983 team...Mark Rogers, wow...12 carries, 192 yards and two TD's. Young man hit the hole hard, showed some shiftiness in the running lanes, and the spin, out of this world!

Really good player!

* Josh Rowland - Didn't have an explosive receiving night but the 60-yard TD run for a score...DANG!! Young man looks explosive, and I don't see anyone being able to cover him. If the ball is off, he goes and GETS it. Oh, and he intercepted a pass and took that 78-yards to the HOUSE!!

Some nice skill guys over there in Dean Buchanan and Brendan Waln.

Offensive line, better than I expected...Some big, TUFF kids in there and Waylon Marshall, Jayden Kettell, Joe Gabaldon, Gabe Broken Leg, Blaine LaPointe and Dineh Blach Horse really make TC look good up front.

This David Espinoza, looked soid last night, 9 tackles and some good pressure in the pocket, resulting in one sack.

TC is at Red Cloud next week....get by that and things are looking good.
